HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF BECOMING A PARISH COUNCILLOR?
If you live or work in or near the Parish and would like to make a real difference to the local community and environment, now is a good time to consider becoming a councillor.

WHAT EXPERTISE DO PARISH COUNCILLORS NEED? The most important thing that Parish councillors need is enough time and enthusiasm to get things done. The Council has a strict code of conduct but a fair amount of flexibility in deciding what it should do. So members need to be proactive and identify issues and gaps that really matter and how to tackle them – particularly important now that District and County resources are being stretched thinner.

At Nettlebed Parish Council there are 8 seats (2 seats are currently vacant).
