The Governing Body of Nettlebed Community School is seeking new members from within the community to assist us in driving our amazing school forward. We want someone who cares about our amazing village and the people within it.
School governors act as the executive board for a school, working alongside the Head Teacher to develop the school vision and strategy for continuous improvement. You will gain valuable experience, as well as the opportunity to shape the school experience.
The Governing Body also supports the school in a range of activities including school trips, performances and within the classroom. All you need to do is volunteer your time; full training will be offered to support you in your new role. Unfortunately, parents who have children at the school are unable to apply as all parent governor positions are already taken.
