Please come and join us for the Sue Ryder It’s a Knockout Team Challenge on Sunday 20th May for what promises to be a fun day out for all the family. A few places are still available for adult teams and for those aged 6-13.
The event is taking place to raise funds for this great charity in the grounds of Joyce Grove from 10am-6.30pm. Adult sessions run from 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-4.30pm and will be as much fun for spectators as those taking part! The day promises to be lots of fun with local food stalls, gourmet coffee and a bar. Other activities include bouncy caste, face painter (afternoon only) and sports massage. A raffle will also be taking place. Entry is free for spectators.
A kids session will also take place in the lunchtime break, at 12.45pm. Kids aged 6-13 will be put into teams and then compete on a series of inflatable obstacles and challenges to complete tasks, ranging from fishing while dressed as Humpty Dumpty, to building an inflatable burger. It’s only mildly physical and is mostly all about having fun and being part of team.
Kids places are available on a first come first served basis. Bookings should be made in advance to secure a place or can be made on the day (cash only) before midday, if places are still available. Cost is £10/child and each participant will receive a goody bag.
Adults – if you would like to take part but can’t get a team together, please call us and we’ll put you into a team.
