The annual Nettlebed Art & Craft show will be returning 01st – 02nd August 2026.
The 2025 show was a huge success with over 100 exhibits from nearly 50 local artists featured and offered for sale over the weekend. We are delighted to announce 31 works of art in total were sold. The weekend was again very well attended with over 650 visitors through the doors. This year we would like to attract more artists to exhibit their work.
The annual show invites artists living within a 20-mile radius of Nettlebed to display up to four paintings, with any theme or subject. So whether you like still-life or landscape, animals or florals, there is plenty to see.
The craft tables also proved popular with visitors. Local crafts people sold items including jewellery, mosaics, engravings, needlework, cards & ceramics.
Nettlebed Art & Craft show has always been run on a non-profit basis, to raise money for local charities. Last year donations were made to the following charities;
- St Bartholomew’s Church Fund
- Charles Bertioli Staying Alive Foundation
- Nettlebed Commons Conservation
- Nettlebed Sports Association
- Food Bank
- Nettlebed Senior Citizens Christmas Party
- Nettlebed Village Club
- Nettlebed Good Neighbour Scheme
- Thames Valley Air Ambulance
We look forward to welcoming visitors back to Nettlebed Community School hall in August 2026. Please join us to admire local artwork & crafts and enjoy a slice of cake!
The Nettlebed Art Society committee members are working hard to plan the 2026 event. The show is run entirely by volunteers and we are always looking for helping hands to run the show. If you think you could help, please email us at Nettlebedas@gmail.com with your details and we’ll get back to you.
