Nettlebed Art and Craft Show

2024 Nettlebed Art and Craft Show, held over the first weekend of  August was again very successful.

Last year’s 70th anniversary show was a huge success with an increase in artworks entered – a total of 160 paintings were displayed and offered for sale. We were delighted that 21 works of art were sold from the show. The annual show invites artists living within a 20-mile radius of Nettlebed to display up to three paintings, with any theme or subject. So whether you like still-life or landscape, animals or florals, there is plenty to see. The craft tables also proved popular with visitors. 14 local crafts people sold items including jewellery, mosaics, plants, needlework, cards & ceramics. 

The show was well attended with around 600 visitors across the weekend. 

Nettlebed Art & Craft show has always been run on a non-profit basis, to raise money for local charities. Last year we were able to donate £300 more than in 2023, sharing £1800 between –

We look forward to welcoming visitors back to Nettlebed Community School hall in August 2025 for the return of the show. Please join us to admire local artwork & crafts and enjoy a slice of cake!

The Nettlebed Art Society committee members are working hard to plan the 2025 event. The show is run entirely by volunteers and we are always looking for helping hands to run the show.
