Dear Nettlebed
Summer looks like it’s finally arrived which means it’s Nettlebed village fete soon.
Saturday 24th June at 2pm – 5pm. Entrance Free – cars £3
Nettlebed Sports Association are in full planning mode. It’s going to be a fun day for all.
We’ve got our very popular dog show, raffle with great prizes including a £100 cash first prize, The White Hart will be serving a delicious BBQ, traditional games, the amazing Bertie Slippers will be there to entertain us all, live music, the fancy dress wheelbarrow race and back by popular demand ‘Gunge The Villager’
On the day vote with your loose change who you would like to be gunged at the end of the fete. The person with the most money in the pot will be gunged. Contenders will be confirmed soon.
As always the villagers are incredibly generous with donations, so thank you all in advance.
If you have any of the following that you would like to donate that would be appreciated:
- Plants (the day before or on the day)
- Unwanted gifts
- Junk jewellery
- Books
- Toys
- Cosmetics
- Bric & brac
- Bottles of booze
- Food items (in date)
- Sweets
- Cakes (the day before or on the day)
