The hall was built in 1913 for the community. It is a unique building made from local brick and stone and is run by a voluntary Committee. The upkeep of this magnificent building is huge. We are now faced with the replacement of equipment to run the heating system.

Over the years the premises have been used for many local activities including meetings, music and dancing, keep fit classes, snooker, darts, senior citizens lunches, film shows, birthdays, weddings, wakes, all sorts of parties – not to mention Midsomer Murders have been filmed there.

As the cold weather approaches it is imperative we install a new boiler and appeal to everyone to please help us. I personally have been involved in the running of Nettlebed Village Club for over 40 years, my mother and grandfather before me and therefore am passionate in this building being left for the next generation to benefit from the legacy we have enjoyed for so long.

Any help, large or small will be greatly appreciated.
