There are a few places available in this relaxed and friendly class every Monday evening 6.45pm - 7.45pm with instructor, Kirsten Cowan. No previous experience necessary!
Pilates aims to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing. It is a non-aerobic exercise, with slow controlled movements, making it suitable for people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness.

Nettlebed is one of a league of 13 villages in South Oxfordshire that from October to May play against each other to become quiz champions of the area. Teams of 6 face off against one another with a third village providing the questions. Unlike pub quizzes where the whole team get to confer over the questions you get a question each which if you can answer great, 2 points for the team, if not you pass for another team mate to answer for 1 point. There is the new bus service for Nettlebed with a direct link to Oxford.
The 139 bus service has been withdrawn and replaced by the X38. This now travels every hour between Henley and Oxford via Nettlebed and Wallingford.

Work at the Village Club starts on Saturday when the scaffolding will go up ready to start repair work to the roof next week. The windows back and front will be done first followed by roof repair in January. It has been a long and uphill journey but, finally, we can make a start. May I take this opportunity to thank everyone who had helped get this project off the ground.
