Hi Nettlebed,

Hope you are enjoying this lovely weather. Saturday is looking sunny and warm for the fete. 

The countdown has begun for Nettlebed village fete. In case you don’t know it’s this Saturday 24th June 2pm till 5pm.

The preparations are coming along nicely. It’s going to be a fun day for all.

One thing we do desperately need are donations.
Everyone is always incredibly generous, so thank you all in advance.

Wanted

  • Bottles of booze
  • Unwanted gifts
  • Toiletries
  • Toys
  • Bric and Brac
  • Books
  • Clothes, kids and adults
  • Cakes (on the Day)
  • Plants (on the day)

I will be at the pavilion taking donations on Tuesday 20th June 6:30 till 8pm and Friday 23rd 3pm till 8pm.

Cake and plant donations can be dropped off Friday or Saturday morning from 10am. 

Don’t forget the fancy dress wheelbarrow race is at the beginning of the fete. If you are taking part you and your partner need to be on the start line at 2pm for a 2:05pm start.

New this year  “Tug Of War competition”
Get your team sorted.
Teams of 5, £10 to enter.
Open to all ages.
You can enter on the day but it would be useful to have your entry in advance.

You can vote for the villager you would like to get gunged at the end of the fete by putting money in their jar. On the day there will be jars with each contestants face on. The contestant with the most money in their jar wins, or not.

We have some amazing raffle prizes. 

If you or your company can donate a prize then please drop it into the pavilion on the above dates. 

Our very popular dog show is back again this year, kindly run and sponsored by Lead On Henley. 

Classes to be confirmed. 

Register your dog at the start of the fete. 

Bertie Slippers is back this year, the children will be pleased. His show will begin at 2:45pm.
