Nettlebed village fete is Saturday 20th June 2-9pm.
Here’s a little info about the day. Also see poster below or our social media pages.
2.10 pm Kicking off the fete will be the very funny fancy dress wheelbarrow race
- If you’re taking part be on the start line at 2pm.
- Fancy dress optional but expected.
- Over 18’s only
- Bring a wheelbarrow.
2.30pm – Dog Show
- Registration opens at 2pm

2.45pm – Cake competition
- Mary Berry will be casting her professional eye over the entries.
- Drop your entry off at the cake tent, last entry at 2:45
- Entry – £3.00
- This year’s cake need to be a traditional lemon drizzle cake.
- Any shape you like, please bring your cake entry on a paper plate covered in cling film.
3.30pm – Cake competition prize giving
4.00pm – The fantastic Ukes of Hazzard will be performing
5.00pm – DJ playing Ibiza classics, dance anthems and party hits
- Being served in the pavilion – traditional cream teas
- Back by popular demand The Zorbs!
- The very popular circus act is coming back with their impressive giant bubbles and fire breathing.
- Delicious selection of street food and market stalls selling goods.
- Stocked bar selling fine wines, local bitter, Pimm’s tent and a gin bar!
- All the traditional games and more. There’s just too much to name.

All money raised is going towards the pavilion refurbishment.
Entry is FREE
Parking is £5, please walk if you can.
Don’t forget your water bottle, sun cream & hat.
Chairs are limited so it might be a good idea to bring a blanket or camping chair.
