Work on the Village Club roof starts on Saturday

Work at the Village Club starts on Saturday when the scaffolding will go up ready to start repair work to the roof next week. Access for both roads will be maintained at all times, however due to the size of machinery utilised and a minimal curing time there may be a short delay to ensure the new surfacing is not comprised and the safety of both the workforce and the general public is maintained. Once on site the surfacing crew will liaise with anyone requiring access to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum. It may be beneficial for the surgery to advice their clients to allow a little extra time when attending an appointment. Currently the work is scheduled for Monday 23rd & Tuesday 24th October, however this is subject to change as this type of treatment is weather susceptible so...
