Roy Venard would like to thank all those who attended his get-together in memory of Jessie, last Saturday 20th October. He was pleased to see so many friends and neighbours there. The Governing Body of Nettlebed Community School is seeking new members from within the community to assist us in driving our 'outstanding' school forward. We are particularly interested to appoint people with an educational background, however this is NOT a necessity.  We just want someone who cares about our amazing village and the people within it.   School governors act as the executive board for a school, working alongside the Head Teacher to develop the school vision and strategy for continuous improvement. You will gain valuable experience, as well as the opportunity to shape the school experience. The Governing Body also support the school in a range of activities including school trips, performances and within the classroom.
