PLATINUM JUBILEE JUNE 2022
The nation is being asked to participate in a national lightning of The Beacon on Thursday 2nd June. This will be held at The Cheese Shed. More details to follow soon.The nation is also being asked to hold The Big Jubilee Lunch to bring the community together. This will be at the Rec from 12:30pm on Sunday 5th June It’s a bring your own picnic but if you don’t fancy that there will be food stalls for you to purchase food from. Options will include The White Hart BBQ, Stone Baked Pizzas, Crepes & Prosecco, the Cricket Bar, teas and coffees. There will be vegan and gluten free options from the pizza van.There will be a prize for the best decorated table. Red, White and Blue theme.Bertie slippers will be there to entertain the kids and the adults as well as a local band. Everyone in the village is invited to walk from the Bus Shelter on the Green to the Village War Memorial at St Bartholomew's, Nettlebed. A short act of Remembrance to remember those who gave their lives during both World Wars and the many conflicts since. Followed by the Service in the Church.
Please meet at 10.30am at the Bus Shelter. If you prefer a shorter walk, you can join at any point along the route or just at the Church.

25th December, Christmas Day:10:30 Holy Communion at St. Bartholomew's, NettlebedWe are really looking forward to being able to celebrate Christmas Day in our church this year, but in order to ensure social distancing we will need to allocate seating in advance.Please could you let me know by reply to this email if you would like to come, confirming how many people are in your party (and in your bubble so you can sit together).
