Zimmer needed urgently

Virginia Myrtle, 17Watlington Street, Nettlebed, 01491 642 878 My husband has just come out of hospital and although we have one zimmer, with wheels, we urgently need another one, similar, to help him move around the house, both upstairs and downstairs.   Can anyone possibly lend us one for a while, until he gets stronger?    Most grateful for any help that can be given.   (Not having any luck with the District Nurses or the Red Cross at the moment)....

Let’s all clear snow

There is a risk of snow in the coming days. Let’s all clear the snow as soon as it falls and before it gets compacted by people and vehicles. I am suggesting that we all clear snow outside our own properties and the pavements outside the homes of those not able to do it themselves. Snow shovels make it a lot easier and are available from £5 in shops or online. It is often said that there is a risk of being sued if you clear snow and then somebody falls.
