My sincere thanks to everyone who so kindly responded to my previous email about borrowing a zimmer, whilst my husband, Giles, is in need of one, and which was happily resolved, but we now wonder if anyone could lend us a handbell, so that he could ring it for us so that we can hear him, whilst he is upstairs in bed? We are not always hearing him when he needs attention and we thought this might be a solution!

My husband has just come out of hospital and although we have one zimmer, with wheels, we urgently need another one, similar, to help him move around the house, both upstairs and downstairs. Can anyone possibly lend us one for a while, until he gets stronger? Most grateful for any help that can be given. (Not having any luck with the District Nurses or the Red Cross at the moment)....

Nettlebed Parish Council has been kindly assisted locally to ensure public salt-grit bins have been replenished with up to a ton of material, following use in December's icy spell, so that neighbours can help one another to keep moving again on our roads, as necessary....
