Dementia Open Day at Sonning Common

Sonning Common Health Centre’s Dr Sue Ronay, PPG members Rika Adams and Sue Litchfield are planning an open day for anyone who wants to know more about Dementia and Alzheimer's at Sonning Common Village Hall on Friday 13th July from 10 am till 4 pm. It is free for everyone - there is no need to be registered with SCHC. We have arranged for over 20 organisations to attend. They will provide information and advice covering a variety of subjects from what research is currently taking place, to what care options are available for those who suffer with dementia and what local support is available for patients and their carers. Help wanted with cricket teas

Henley Cricket Club 3rd X1 play their home matches at Nettlebed CC. They would like someone to help with laying out their teas and clearing away afterwards. The teas are pre-prepared and brought to the ground. Matches are generally on alternate Saturdays with the first match on May 5th and the last on August 26th. Help is required between 3.30 and 5.30 on those match days  and the club will pay £20 for the two hour session. We have previously been helped (over the past 5 years) by a number of teenage school girls but we are open to anyone who is willing to help us out. Unlike other parts of the county, SODC is not having an election on 3 May 2018, so won’t be sending out any voting cards or postal votes to residents in our district.
