Henley Cricket Club 3rd X1 play their home matches at Nettlebed CC. They would like someone to help with laying out their teas and clearing away afterwards. The teas are pre-prepared and brought to the ground. Matches are generally on alternate Saturdays with the first match on May 5th and the last on August 26th. Help is required between 3.30 and 5.30 on those match days and the club will pay £20 for the two hour session.
We have previously been helped (over the past 5 years) by a number of teenage school girls but we are open to anyone who is willing to help us out. Ideally we need someone of a confident and sunny disposition.
If you are interested please contact Henley CC Chairman Brian Kenworthy. His e-mail address is brian@tmb-events.com or you can reach him on 07768 811196....
Unlike other parts of the county, SODC is not having an election on 3 May 2018, so won’t be sending out any voting cards or postal votes to residents in our district. However we have found that as we are receiving a number of queries from electors regarding the elections that we would proactively take steps to raise elector awareness.
Kind regards,
