We have recently launched a survey to find out what residents think about our waste and recycling services, this includes household waste, recycling and food waste collections, bulky waste collections, street cleaning services, customer services and the councils’ waste and recycling information.
The feedback received to the survey will help us identify satisfaction levels with our waste and recycling services and highlight areas for improvement.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice – S14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Road Closure and “No Waiting” restriction at - Henley-Bix-Nettlebed, A4130 Bix Duals
In the interests of public safety, it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close the road and impose a ‘No Waiting’ restriction as detailed above to facilitate carriageway patching work.
A temporary Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and will operate from 12/06/2023 to and include 14/06/2023 (each night from 19:30hrs to 06:00hrs).
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice is being made to implement the temporary closure and restriction and will operate on the days shown above.
Please note that Notices for urgent works can last up to 5 consecutive days only.
Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for those frontages within the closure area, subject to the progress of the works and liaison with the works supervisor.

Dear Nettlebed
Summer looks like it’s finally arrived which means it’s Nettlebed village fete soon.
Saturday 24th June at 2pm - 5pm. Entrance Free - cars £3
Nettlebed Sports Association are in full planning mode. It’s going to be a fun day for all. We’ve got our very popular dog show, raffle with great prizes including a £100 cash first prize, The White Hart will be serving a delicious BBQ, traditional games, the amazing Bertie Slippers will be there to entertain us all, live music, the fancy dress wheelbarrow race and back by popular demand ‘Gunge The Villager’
On the day vote with your loose change who you would like to be gunged at the end of the fete. The person with the most money in the pot will be gunged. Contenders will be confirmed soon.
As always the villagers are incredibly generous with donations, so thank you all in advance.

The play area on Watlington Street will be closed from Tuesday, 9th - Tuesday, 16th May while the boundary fence is being replaced.
