A community noticeboard has been provided by Nettlebed Parish Council for use by residents. If you have anything of interest/benefit to the local community to communicate, please feel free to display it on the board. The noticeboard is located on the side wall of the Village Club (along the path between the club and the surgery). HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF BECOMING A PARISH COUNCILLOR? If you live or work in or near the Parish and would like to make a real difference to the local community and environment, now is a good time to consider becoming a councillor. WHAT EXPERTISE DO PARISH COUNCILLORS NEED? The most important thing that Parish councillors need is enough time and enthusiasm to get things done. The Council has a strict code of conduct but a fair amount of flexibility in deciding what it should do. So members need to be proactive and identify issues and gaps that really matter and how to tackle them - particularly important now that District and County resources are being stretched thinner. Nettlebed Deep Clean – 19-21 March

Nettlebed Deep Clean - 19-21 March SODC Deep Cleanse department will be spending a few days in each Parish/Town across South Oxfordshire to perform a deep cleanse. They will be coming to Nettlebed for three days from 19-21 March, they will be litter picking, sweeping and removing weeds/moss on pavements. They will not spray weeds, cut grass or vegetation or remove weeds and moss that is on roads and will only clear land to which the public is permitted access and that is under the direct control of the district council.
