And Invite from the Commons Conservators
On July the 6th, the Commons Conservators invite you to a drop-in work party on the Nettlebed Commons. Earlier in the year tree felling has taken place on the commons and the wood that was not of interest was left on the forest floor. The aim for the volunteering day is to clear up as much of the brushwood leftover from tree cutting earlier on the commons. Instead of having brushwood lying around, we will build habitat piles so that the wildlife on our commons can have some refuge.
Place to meet: In the beech forest in Nettlebed Common Wood (See map), where the marked footpath crosses the track. Indicated on the map as blue square.
