Please come and join us for the Sue Ryder It's a Knockout Team Challenge on Sunday 20th May for what promises to be a fun day out for all the family. A few places are still available for adult teams and for those aged 6-13.   The event is taking place to raise funds for this great charity in the grounds of Joyce Grove from 10am-6.30pm. Adult sessions run from 10am-12.30pm and 2pm-4.30pm and will be as much fun for spectators as those taking part! The day promises to be lots of fun with local food stalls, gourmet coffee and a bar. Other activities include bouncy caste, face painter (afternoon only) and sports massage. A raffle will also be taking place. Entry is free for spectators.   A kids session will also take place in the lunchtime break, at 12.45pm. Sonning Common Health Centre’s Dr Sue Ronay, PPG members Rika Adams and Sue Litchfield are planning an open day for anyone who wants to know more about Dementia and Alzheimer's at Sonning Common Village Hall on Friday 13th July from 10 am till 4 pm. It is free for everyone - there is no need to be registered with SCHC. We have arranged for over 20 organisations to attend. They will provide information and advice covering a variety of subjects from what research is currently taking place, to what care options are available for those who suffer with dementia and what local support is available for patients and their carers.
