Patterson family photos about 1911 – seeking descendants

Email received from Alison Souster  I am looking through old inherited photos and have a number that belonged to my great aunt of people I don’t have any personal connection with, but the family seems to have lived in Nettlebed - possibly early in the 20th century and definitely in 1911.  I wondered if it might be possible for you to ask if the family has any relatives still in the area who I might be able to forward the photos to as I am unable to keep them much longer. The family surname is Patterson, and there were three daughters: Rosamund, Linda and Betty. I attach a sample of the photos - please share if you wish.  I have others too. I believe, from an Ancestry record, that one of them may have died in Banbury in 1969 (or possibly their mother?).  It would be very much appreciated if you could share this message and let me know of any feedback? New grants to help voluntary groups The council has launched a pilot grants scheme to give voluntary groups the chance to apply for grants to support them to recruit volunteers. Community groups have told us that one of the biggest obstacles they face when trying to attract volunteers is finding money to meet training, transport and insurances costs, so we've set aside £25,000 to provide financial support. Small voluntary groups can apply for a grant of between £250 and £750 to help cover costs. Nettlebed Art and Craft Show needs more help

To keep Nettlebed Art and Craft Show on the road we need more help with setting up on Friday 3rd August from 11.30 am. This would involve rearranging school furniture, setting up screens and tables... so a bit of a workout for someone who likes to keep fit. Just let me know what sort of times you could manage. Stewarding duties are available on Saturday 4th 11.00 to 12.30 and between 12.30 to 3.00 pm and on Sunday 5th  3.00 to 5.00 pm. These would be light duties to help welcome our guests and give other stewards a break. Quite social really. Then help would be welcome to take it all down, any time from 5 pm onwards. Once purchasers and artists have collected their items between 5.00 and 7.00 pm,  it will be quite physical work to get Nettlebed Community hall back to rights. Just let me know what you could do.
