The Nettlebed Village Club is having a BBQ and general open day on May 7th - a pretty informal celebration where you can have a bite to eat (bring a chair !) and enjoy a Pims or a beer and have a mooch around.

The car park will be closed as we may have kids around so please park in the public space over the road.

We are opening up the ringing chamber on Saturday 6th May between 9.30 to 10.30 am. Please come and visit us to see how the bells work and "dong" one. There will be a commemorative book for all those who have a ring to sign.
You come in through the church kitchen door on the west of the porch and up a short flight of steps.
Children are very welcome when accompanied by an adult.

The Village Club will be holding its Annual General Meeting this Wednesday, 19th April - where a new Club Committee and Treasurer/Secretary will be elected. We will also outline how the last 12 months have been and what the next year holds for the Club. This year ahead will see some significant changes for the Club and its future within the Community.
The meeting is open to members of the Club only, and we encourage all to come along.

The weather is looking good for wildflower plug planting this Saturday. Everyone welcome! There are hundreds to plant, so the more the merrier - even if you just come for an hour!
Bring a dibber or other suitable tool if you have something appropriate, and perhaps something to kneel on....and wear suitable clothing and footwear. High viz vests will be provided.

This service is for people with a senior citizens bus pass and who do not have the use of a car. It picks you up from your door and drops you back to your door. The service is free - booking is essential.
The bus stops at Waitrose and Tesco in Henley. One week is a Thursday Comet Bus, the following weeks it's a Tuesday Henley Handybus.
