The Parish Council have received the following information from Oxfordshire County Council regarding EV charging.
One key solution for residents who lack off-street parking is the Gul-e cable gully solution - https://gul-e.co.uk/ - which is a very simple cable channel embedded into the pavement to allow a resident to safely get a cable from a wall-mounted home charger to their EV at kerbside without causing a trip hazard.

If you think you would benefit from this kind of solution to enable you to charge a vehicle from your own home energy supply, then ‘register interest’ now using the button on the website, in order to be kept informed (and potentially first in line for funding) when this solution is made publicly available later in the year.
The Parish Council has registered already registered interest.

Please put your bins out the night before they’re due to be emptied this week. Biffa will begin waste collections at 5am on Monday 18 July and Tuesday 19 July due to the expected heatwave. This should help their crews avoid being out at the hottest part of the day.
Even with the early start, it’s possible Biffa’s waste collection crews may not be able to complete their rounds. If this happens and your bins are not emptied, please leave them out for two days after your scheduled collection day and the crews will aim to catch up later in the week. More information is on our missed bins page (South/ Vale).
