REPAIRS TO THE WETPOUR SURFACE WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON FRIDAY 23RD APRIL.
We appreciate that as the weather is so lovely, this is disappointing news, however the work needs to be done as the annual RosPA inspection reported this as a potential trip hazard - so please bear with us and let's hope there are many more sunny days ahead and everyone can play safely.

The Annual Parish Meeting is an opportunity for parishioners on the Electoral Roll for Nettlebed to raise any matters of concern to them that relates to their local community.

This year will be a little different from previous years:
Firstly, it will be a virtual meeting held on Zoom – please contact the Clerk in advance of the meeting for the linkThe first part of the meeting will fill you in on what the Parish Council has achieved over the last two years, plans for the forthcoming year and how the precept money is being spent – the second part of the meeting is being hosted by Nettlebed Now community group and they will talk about the group and their ideas for improving life in the village.

Henley-on-Thames – Red Lane
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 01 March 2021
Coming into force: 08 March 2021
This Order is being introduced because of duct installation works which are anticipated to be completed 16 March 2021.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of Red Lane from the junction of Coates Lane to the junction of Patemore Lane (south of the B481)
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via the B41, Patmore Lane, B480, A4130, Watlington street, Priest Hill, Park Corner and vice versa.

Do you want to make a positive difference in our village?
Would you like to influence decisions that affect your community?
You need to be willing to give up some of your time. How much depends on you and your commitment to work for your community without being paid.
Parish Council meets once a month (except August & December) usually on the first Wednesday of the month - although meetings will be moving to the first Tuesday of the month from April 2021).
Meetings normally last around 1-2 hours.
You must be 18 or over, an elector and have been a resident or worked within 3 miles of the Parish for the last year.
